When do my events start and end?

Thursday: 

  • Hotel Check-in: 3 PM
  • Event Registration: 3- 7 PM
  • VIP Reception: 6-7 PM
  • Welcome Party for all Attendees: 7- 10 PM

Friday: 

  • Morning Stretch (optional- indoors): 7-8 AM
  • VIP Doors Open: 8:00 AM
  • General Admission Doors Open: 8:45 AM
  • General Sessions: 9-5 PM (includes breaks & lunch)
  • VIP Dinner: 7- 10 PM (General Admission Ladies, please feel free to explore dining options in the area for dinner at your leisure) 

Saturday: 

  • Morning Stretch: 7-8 AM (optional & indoors)
  • VIP Doors Open: 8:00 AM
  • General Admission Doors Open: 8:45 AM
  • General Session: 9-5 PM (includes breaks & lunch)
  • Masquerade Ball for all Attendees: 7-10 PM (indoors)

Sunday: 

  • VIP Day Pick-Up Time: 9:30 AM (meet in the lobby)
  • VIP Day: 10-2 PM (outdoors)
  • Return to Hotel Lobby: 2:30 PM 

Where do I go for registration?

Once you check into the beautiful hotel and catch your breath from the gorgeous lobby, follow the signs to the SOSI Ballroom for registration and more information.

What is the closest airport to fly into?

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport – Approx 21 minutes / 14.5 miles from the hotel. Uber & Lyft Readily Available at the airport

What is the Host Hotel & What is Included?

If you stay at the host hotel, you’ll be entitled to a discounted room block if you book by October 12, 2023.

For general sessions – dress in your style. Wear what makes you feel like YOU and makes you feel your best!

Bring a swimsuit in case you want to enjoy the spa or pool

Bring your formal attire for the Masquerade Gala Night– we’ll be providing masks, but if you want to add your own spectacular flair to your ensemble, please do bring your own. We celebrate old New Orleans in style with a true Masquerade Ball this year. Masks, gowns, and glamour afoot!

A light jacket, sweater or wrap is suggested for evenings as the temps cool down in the evening

Bring a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes for during the day

VIP Reception/Welcome Party - cocktail party attire

General Sessions - business casual attire

Morning Stretch - athletic attire

Friday VIP Dinner - cocktail party attire 

Masquerade Ball - formal attire with mask (masks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

What days should I arrive and depart?

Arrival:

All attendees should arrive by Thursday, November 2nd at the latest. Hotel check-in starts at 3 PM, with registration for the event from 3-5 PM.

The VIP Reception is from 6-7 PM and the Welcome Party for All is from 7-10 PM.

Departures:

General Admission: Feel free to stay another night (or a few!) at the hotel or leave at any time on Sunday.

VIP: VIP Day ends at approximately 3 PM on Sunday. You can either ask for a late checkout, have the bellhop hold your luggage, or stay an extra night at the hotel. The discounted room rate is available for up to 3 days post and prior to the event for your convenience (based on availability).

Food & Beverage Information:

Allergies/Food Sensitivities: Please make sure to let us know of any allergies or food sensitivities. We do our best to accommodate all of our guests in our group meals – be sure to fill out your information form –  and will make accommodations as we can. Please email support@schoolofselfimage.com to inform us of any special needs.

Alcohol: We will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at our evening events. All guests present must be 21+ to imbibe.

Coffee & Tea: Coffee and tea are available daily in the VIP lounge for VIP ticket holders; otherwise, the hotel has a lovely coffee shop on the main level for breakfast, snacks, and coffee or tea.

Water: We will provide room water stations for all attendees. You should bring your favorite refillable water bottle to reduce waste and keep yourself hydrated!

Will I have any downtime to explore New Orleans?

The event occurs within steps of the famous French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and the Fashion District. We highly recommend that you enjoy an area that is rich in history and charm.

We have arranged with the hotel to allow access to our discounted room rate for three days pre and post-the-event, should you want to come in early or extend your trip to enjoy the hospitality of New Orleans!

Additionally, Halloween is a few days before our event and is a fabulous time in the city! The hotel is in a safe neighborhood – however, as always in any city, we recommend that you do not go out alone at night and always make sure that you keep your cell phone and wits about you. Keep in mind that New Orleans does have a lot of pickpockets that can be mistaken for street vendors.

Photography: Keep in mind that we’ll be taking photos and videos at the event and will likely ask you to sign a release, as we may use them on our website and in other promotional materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or appear in any video footage, please advise our staff members upon arrival.
