This past year, I decided to attend a business workshop in Las Vegas on a whim.
It was a last-minute decision, and my brain had every excuse as to why I shouldn’t go:
It’s Vegas. You’re not a fan of Vegas, Tonya.
July in Las Vegas is way too HOT!
You’re traveling so much. You should stay at home.
It’s so expensive. What if it’s a bust and you waste all that time and money?
(Lord have mercy! If I listened to that part of my brain, I’d be living such a dull life.)
But you know what? Something within me just wanted to go. I didn’t have a reason. It was just a whim that wouldn’t leave me alone.
I was surrounded by entrepreneurs from so many different industries.
My mind was blown open with new perspectives and ideas.
And most importantly, I walked away with a renewed sense of the kind of entrepreneur I want to be and where I want to take the School of Self-Image.
Here’s the thing about life.
Those gut instincts are leading us in the direction we need to go, and they’re not always backed up by logic.
As a woman who trusts herself, you don’t need a reason to book a flight, take a trip, or make a change.
When you know, you just know… and following those whims will lead you to the most extraordinary life.
