The Art of Self-Image

This isn’t self-help. It’s self-creation.

The School of Self-Image was born from a single, radical idea:

A woman’s life will always rise (or fall) to the level of her self-image.

We believe that lasting transformation doesn’t begin with to-do lists, hustle, or external validation – it begins with how a woman sees herself.

Because when you shift your self-image – your beliefs, your style, your surroundings – everything changes.

This is where high-achieving women become high-receiving women.

Where elegance meets ambition.
Where discipline dances with desire.
Where reinvention becomes a lifestyle – not a last resort.

Here, you don’t just play by the rules – you paint your own.

Meet the Founder

Hi there – I’m Tonya Leigh

Certified Master Self-Image Coach, former nurse, and founder of a movement for women who want more – and aren’t afraid to create it.

My life changed one night at 2AM, when a doctor asked me a single, powerful question:

Who do you want to be?

Not what I wanted to do, but who I wanted to be.

My essence. My energy. My identity.

My answer? Audacious. Off-script. Nothing like the version of me I was living at the time.

And yet, I started living it.

That decision led to sipping wine in France, hosting retreats in Paris, and eventually founding the School of Self-Image – a global community for women ready to create lives that reflect who they truly are.

Because here’s what I know for sure:

A woman’s life always rises to the level of her self-image.

And I’d love to show you how to elevate yours.

What We Believe

Meet The Team

Behind the scenes of the School of Self-Image is a small but mighty team of women (and a few gents) who embody what we teach – bringing the SOSI vision to life with style, intention, and heart in every class, conversation, and decision.

When Not Working, You’ll Find Me...

Cheering on the sidelines of one of my sons’ sporting events. Yes, I’m the loud, borderline obnoxious mom!

Signature Style Statement

This is a hard one because I love to incorporate all the style types! When I’m not in workout clothes, I love pairing a fun cowboy boot with a vintage leather jacket and a skirt or suede shorts, and adding my Jacques Marie Mage glasses—voilà, a little western or boho with a modern twist.

When Not Working, You’ll Find Me...

It used to be golfing, but now I am back into tennis full throttle! Also, working out and a lot of poker nights with the boyfriend and friends lately (they call me Sarah Straight).

Enneagram:

Every time I take this test, I get a different answer; most recently, I scored 1, 3, and 6: the Perfectionist, the Achiever, and the Loyalist. Like Abigail, it's challenging to distill every situation into a single archetype.

What's PLaying:

Coffee Jazz stations on YouTube with the little crackly fireplaces or rain in the background on the Sonos or surround sound.

Signature Style Statement

Classic- almost always in black and neutrals, paired with a few jewelry pieces

When Not Working, You’ll Find Me...

Exploring Utah, finding my next favorite restaurant, and spending time with my humans (my family = my built-in BFFs).

The Showman (our comedic relief)

Enneagram:

Type 4 – The Individualist

What's PLaying:

I’ve always sort of chameleon-ed onto whatever my roommate or spouse (I have one previous) listens to, but in the thirteen years I’ve been with my wife, she doesn’t listen to a lot of music, and so neither do I. Currently, I’m enjoying a folk-type singer my daughter introduced to me; his name is Noah Kahan. Try ‘Stick Season’ first if you’re looking into him.

Signature Style Statement

I got Bohemian on the Style Quiz - not the first time someone’s used that word on me - so maybe my hat counts as a style statement?

When Not Working, You’ll Find Me...

Traveling (though often still working), primarily in Ireland, but around the U.S. as well, or hanging around the house with my wife. We were the rare couple who enjoyed lockdown, and in lots of ways, we only technically stopped.
