I couldn’t do a summer podcast series without talking about one of my forever favorite topics: style.

This week’s episode is called How to Use Style to Reinvent Yourself, and it’s about so much more than the clothes.

It’s about self-expression.
It’s about energy.
It’s about becoming the woman you see in your mind’s eye – before the world told you to tone it down.

Style is one of the most powerful tools for reinvention.

And, oh boy, have I had some style eras.  I’m loving the one I’m currently in (Hint: I share it in this week’s episode).

When you change what you wear, you change how you carry yourself. How you move through rooms. What you believe is possible for you.

And that’s what this episode is all about.

I won’t be going live on IG this week because I’m in Durango, soaking up a week in the mountains with my family (hello, slower mornings and starry nights).

But, I will be posting my favorite mountain chic looks while I’m here, so be sure to follow me over on Instagram @tonyaleigh if you want a peek.

Style As Self-Expression

Fashion is what you buy, style is what you do with it.

~ often attributed to Nicky Hilton

Your closet isn’t just where you store clothes – it’s where possibilities live. Every morning, you choose not just what to wear, but who to become. The woman who reaches for sweats every day is making a different choice than the woman who reaches for the dress.

Style is your daily declaration of how you want to be seen and, more importantly, how you want to see yourself. When you change what you see in the mirror, you change what you believe is possible.

Snuggle Vase Set

Style isn’t just limited to your clothing – it extends to how you curate every corner of your life. This Snuggle Vase Set caught my eye because each piece is imperfectly perfect, each slightly different from the next.

I keep them in my main living area, and here’s the thing – I love them so much just as they are that sometimes I don’t put anything in them at all. Their organic shapes and soft curves are beautiful enough on their own.

When you surround yourself with objects that make you smile even when they’re “empty,” you’re styling your environment to support the woman you’re becoming.

[Summer Series] How to Use Style to Reinvent Yourself

Here’s the truth: the woman who waits to dress well until “one day when” stays stuck longer than the woman who dresses well to create that one day now. This episode dives deep into that exact mindset shift.

I share my own story of climbing out of a rut by changing what I wore, how style became my secret weapon for building confidence, and the three questions you need to ask yourself before opening your closet door.

Whether you’re feeling stuck or ready for a reinvention, this conversation will shift how you see style… from surface-level to soul-deep.
