What if I told you that the life I’m living today is the result of learning how to act out my script?

Before I ever had thousands of readers for this newsletter, I had a script.

In my mind, I saw myself showing up each week, writing as if you were already here.

I felt the energy of connection, I imagined women all over the world being inspired, and I acted from that script long before it was my reality.

I’ve done this with my body, too.

I practiced the script of a woman who nourishes herself with love, who treats her body as something precious instead of a project.

I imagined her meals, her movement, her daily habits – then I acted them out.

Over time, my health and weight naturally shifted to reflect that new story.

And money? Same thing.

I used to carry a script of scarcity – there’s never enough, I have to hustle harder.

That story led me straight to burnout.

But when I began practicing the script of a woman who creates, circulates, and enjoys money with ease, my reality transformed.

The opportunities, the clients, the income – they showed up in alignment with my new role.

You see, every day we’re all acting out some kind of script – whether it’s written intentionally or not.

Your self-image, your beliefs, your inner dialogue… they’re shaping how you show up.

And how you show up writes the story of your life.

So here’s the question I want to leave you with this week:

If your life is a play, what script are you acting out – and do you like where it’s leading you?

If this idea excites you, you’ll love this week’s podcast episode.

I go even deeper into how to rewrite your self-image script and step into a whole new reality.

Writing Your Own Story

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

~Rumi

Every day, you’re acting out some kind of script – whether you wrote it consciously or inherited it without question. The woman who waits for her circumstances to change stays stuck in the same storyline forever. But the woman who decides to rewrite her script? She becomes the plot twist in her own life.

Here’s what most people miss: you don’t need permission from your bank account, your family, or your past to start being who you want to become. You just need the audacity to practice a new character until she becomes who you are.

Victoria Beckham Eyeliner

Okay, confession: I used to think eyeliner was basically black magic. But this Victoria Beckham eyeliner changed everything. It’s so smooth and forgiving that even my slightly shaky morning hands can create something that looks intentional.

Here’s the real reason I’m obsessed: putting on eyeliner has become my daily “I’m showing up” ritual. There’s something about that one deliberate stroke that signals to my brain: we’re not hiding today. It’s like drawing confidence directly onto my face.

Plus, Victoria Beckham just feels like someone who never doubts her script, you know? And sometimes you need a little of that energy in your makeup bag.

[Summer Series] Acting Out Your Script

I had to revisit this episode because the concept of “acting out your script” continues to be one of the most transformative tools in my toolkit. This conversation dives deep into why practicing a new version of yourself feels so awkward (and why that’s actually a good sign).

I break down the daily practices for embodying your Future Self now, how to handle the discomfort of change, and why you don’t need to wait for permission to become who you really want to be.
