Happy New Year’s Eve!
As we step into 2026, I want to share something profound.
In my early thirties, I started doing this wild thing: imagining myself on the cover of a magazine – the title, the headlines, my energy.
And, it changed everything!
Hear me out: before then, I approached myself and life as a big problem to fix.
Thighs…they rubbed together. FIX!
Bank account…it was definitely broken. FIX!
My soft voice…needed to be stronger. FIX!
My conversations…I needed to be more interesting. FIX!
All that fixing left me exhausted. Not to mention, it never led to a fulfilling result.
(Note: if my life were a magazine back then, I would not have subscribed.)
But, imagining myself as the Editor-In-Chief of my own magazine? Well, that became my creative breakthrough.
I took this idea and started living it out year after year.
That cover title became my essence.
The headlines became my focus.
I dressed like the woman I envisioned on the cover.
I upleveled my inner world and outer world to match the vision.
I was no longer “fixing” myself – I was creating myself.
Here’s the thing: when you see yourself as a problem, you subconsciously look for problems.
But when you view yourself and life as a masterpiece, you start looking for possibilities.
I have taken the exact process and teach it annually in our most beloved workshop, Live Like an Editor. (FYI: this is our 6th year, and it just keeps getting better).
Five days that will positively impact the next 360.
Don’t just take my word for it. Here’s what Michelle had to say:

If you’re ready to ditch the “fixing” mentality and approach your year through a creative lens – with a sense of joie de vivre – well….
We start January 12th.
You coming?
With creative energy,

I am not a problem to solve. I am a life to create.
For years, I approached myself like a renovation project – always finding what needed fixing.
But transformation happens when I shift from critic to creator.
Ask: What do I want to design? Not: What needs repair?
The editor doesn’t fix. She curates. She chooses. She creates.

Live Like an Editor Workshop | January 12 – January 16
Stop treating your life like a repair project.
Start designing it like the masterpiece it’s meant to be.
In the Live Like an Editor Workshop, we’ll shift from fixing to creating, from shame to vision, from perfectionism to authentic beauty. You’ll design your Magazine of You – setting the vision, creating the aesthetic, deciding what gets featured, and identifying what gets cut.
This is our 6th year, and women consistently say this workshop did more in 5 days than years of other work.

You’ll receive:
→ A gorgeous workbook
→ Morning audio lessons
→ Daily live sessions (with replays)
→ A transformative design process for your entire year
The 10-Minute Shift You Must Make Before the New Year
What if the breakthrough you’re craving doesn’t come from fixing what’s wrong – but from designing what’s possible?
In this episode, I’m revealing the editor’s approach that changed everything: why repair mode keeps you stuck, how wabi-sabi teaches us to find beauty in imperfection, and the one question that shifts you from critic to creator.
Plus, I share why your cracks aren’t liabilities – they’re the gold in your story.
