The Edit #189

Two years ago, Fonz and I were having brunch down the street from our house when a couple from Atlanta walked in and sat next to us.

I was immediately captivated by this woman.

We’ll call her V.

She was wearing a babydoll shirt dress with a casual cardigan over her shoulders, Gucci Adidas loafers, the coolest sunglasses I’ve ever seen, and her short natural curls were – I’m not exaggerating – iconic. Barely any makeup. Just fresh skin and the brightest eyes in the room.

Then she laughed. And every head at that bar turned.

Not because she was loud. Because she was magnetic.

V isn’t famous. She’s not an influencer. She doesn’t have a brand or a platform.

But she should. Because whatever this woman is doing at 68, it’s working.

What was supposed to be a casual brunch conversation turned into hours of talking, and by the end of it, we’d exchanged numbers. We’ve been friends ever since.

And the more I’ve gotten to know V, the more I keep thinking – this is it. This is what vibrancy actually looks like.

Not performing. Not trying. Just a woman who’s built habits that make her impossible to ignore.

She’s the inspiration behind this week’s podcast, where I’m breaking down the three habits that women like V all have in common – the ones who just get more alive with every year.

Listen here.

The Thought Edit

I’m done managing the room.

Every moment I spend monitoring how I’m being perceived is a moment I’m not actually living.

When I stop performing a version of myself and start being myself, that’s when I become magnetic.

The Feature

Topshop Funnel Neck Jacket

This Topshop Funnel Neck Jacket showed up in my algorithm three times before I finally clicked. Sometimes the internet knows what you need before you do.

It’s giving me serious French girl vibes – the kind of piece that instantly elevates whatever you pair it with. I threw it over a white tee this past weekend and got two compliments from strangers.

The best part? It’s part of a set, so if you love it as much as I do, you can go for a full matching moment.

The Podcast

The Three Habits of the Most Vibrant Women I Know

Think about the most vibrant woman you know. Not the most successful or beautiful – the one who walks into a room and something shifts. The one everyone wants to be around.

What is she doing differently? Most people would guess it’s her workout routine or skincare regimen. But after studying women for twenty years, I can tell you it’s none of those things.

In this episode, I’m sharing the three specific habits that make a woman absolutely magnetic.
