The other morning, I woke up and felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time: genuine awe.
It wasn’t a special occasion. Nothing monumental had happened. But as I moved through my morning, I kept catching myself smiling at the simplest things.
The way the light hit the kitchen counter as I poured my coffee.
The warmth of the mug in my hands.
The quiet hum of the house before the day really began.
None of it was extraordinary on its own – but together, it reminded me just how good life can feel when you’re actually present for it.
It’s so easy to rush past these moments, to stay focused on the next big thing or the next goal.
But when you slow down enough to notice the small stuff, you realize this is the big stuff.
These are the moments that make a life feel full, rich, and worth savoring.
And that’s the shift I’ve been living lately – not waiting for something magical to happen, but recognizing that it already is.
Life doesn’t have to change to feel magical. You do – by deciding to actually see it.
With wonder,

P.S. December in the School of Self-Image is all about The Art of Wonder – learning to see magic in the ordinary.
Plus, The Curated Year Workshop happens mid-month, where we’ll design an intentional 2026 together.
Step inside SOSI to experience both.
The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.
~ W.B. Yeats
Wonder isn’t reserved for sunsets and mountaintops. It’s hiding in your Tuesday afternoon, your regular commute, your everyday routine – waiting for you to notice.
The difference between a magical life and a mundane one? Attention.
Try this tomorrow: Before you check your phone or start your to-do list, find three things worth wondering about. The pattern frost makes on a window. How your body knows exactly how to wake up. The miracle that hot water comes from a tap.
Small shifts in seeing create seismic shifts in living.

How to Live a Life Full of Wonder and Everyday Magic
What if the life you’re seeking isn’t out there somewhere – it’s right here, waiting for you to notice it?
In this week’s pre-Thanksgiving episode, I’m sharing how to cultivate wonder in the most ordinary moments. We’ll talk about why your brain is wired to miss magic (and how to rewire it), and the simple practice that’ll turn everyday moments into something worth remembering.
This isn’t about toxic positivity – it’s about training your attention to see what’s actually here.
