Look around and you’ll find people who have accomplished more than you and those who have accomplished less. You’ll find those who have more money than you and those with less.
In other words, there will always be people to compare yourself to. Some will make you feel great about where you are in life, and there will be those who make you feel awful.
I suggest that you stop looking around and embrace your own pace.
My life became ridiculously fun when I stopped putting pressure on myself to be anywhere other than where I was.

Welcoming Your Unique Pace
Finding the Perfect Fit with Kate Chadbourne
I'm very inspired by the idea of “The Thought Store." And on a grumpy, anxious day recently, I wrote this little piece in my journal that changed my whole day:
I closed my eyes and entered The Thought Store.
I carried my needless anxiety - a black garment with scratchy lace - and marched up to the clerk.
"I'd like to return this," I said.
"Of course," he answered warmly. "I'll just hang it up," and he moved toward a rack of tortured-looking, funeral clothes, "and you can select something that suits you better."
I looked around, feeling that excitement and expansiveness that comes with perfect freedom to choose what I really wanted, and my eyes fell on a cream-colored floor-length gown. It fairly glowed.

"Fairy Queen clothes," I sighed with pleasure, reaching for it. "Love, confidence, pleasure, magic."
No sooner had I touched it than I felt utterly transformed - delighted and suffused with love and enchantment. I was wearing it and it felt like it was made for me. A perfect fit.
And, with a word of thanks and a radiant smile, I sailed out the door into a very different day than the one I'd dressed for before remembering that The Thought Store is always open, and best of all: everything is FREE.
