Raising Your Vibration Is Easy; You Need Only Put It into Practice.
Everything vibrates with energy - from rocks and plants to fire or water and electricity – all at different speeds and intensities.
We humans also vibrate with energy and do so at different frequencies, often resulting from what is happening with us mentally, physically, and emotionally.
The good news is that we are not powerless over the frequency of our vibration.
On the contrary, we do have a good deal of choice and control over our vibrational level.
We all know women who have a high vibrational quality.
Those women are vibrating at a high frequency, and they can be inspirational to us as we strive to raise our own vibration.
On the other hand, we all know sad, angry, pessimistic, negative, or jaded women. These gals vibrate at a lower frequency than most, and being close to them can bring our own vibration down.
From a detached and loving distance, though, these low-vibe women can also motivate us in that they can highlight where we don't want our vibration to be and why.
Research suggests a strong connection between your mind and your body, which creates that energetic vibration that we all have at one level or another.
Proponents believe we can shift our body's vibrations to:
- Lift our mood
- Improve our health
- Set intention and reach our goals
Experts who study vibrational energy put forth that certain emotions and thought patterns create high-frequency vibrations, such as gratitude, felicity, delight, tranquility, and acceptance.
On the flip side of the same coin, other feelings and mindsets – such as fear, anger, frustration, misery, and despair – vibrate at a lower rate.
Our thoughts and feelings set the frequency at which we vibrate, and our vibration flows outward and attracts back the energy that is moving at a similar frequency.
This is one of the ways that we create our reality, which is why we can cause positive shifts in our lives by simply raising our vibration.
How Can You Raise Your Vibration?
There are many ways to raise your vibration, including – but certainly not limited to – thinking positive and uplifting thoughts, showing up powerfully, surrounding yourself with high vibe people, taking loving care of your body and spirit, and acting out your script with strength and conviction.
To explore your level of vibration and discover where you are, give some judgment-free thought to the most negative, pessimistic person in your life and then give some thought to the most vibrant. This will allow you to measure where you are on the frequency spectrum and enable you to begin raising your vibration, note where you started, and measure your progress with appreciation.
There are many ways to raise your vibration. Here are a few of my favorite:
Raise The Vibration Of Your Surroundings
A tidy home. Peaceful surroundings. Calm and order. These are the things that high vibrational surroundings are made of.
The good news is that these are all situational circumstances that you have an incredible amount of control over, even if it sometimes feels like you don't.
When we think about our surroundings, most of us instinctively turn to the internal spaces we spend time in - from our car to the office or even a public place. All those spaces are easy enough to either make adjustments to or remove ourselves from.
What we often forget is that we can also take ourselves into peaceful surroundings.
The peaceful surroundings of nature are an excellent place to start.
Numerous studies have found that immersion in nature:
- Lowers stress and anxiety
- Lowers blood pressure and cortisol levels
- Lifts fatigue
A long walk on the beach or a hike in the woods may also benefit you by improving cognitive functioning and your overall sense of wellbeing.
Choose Where You Focus Your Attention
We all tend to worry now and then, but constant worry and overthinking can significantly lower your vibrational frequency.
High vibe people tend to let go of things that they know they have little or no control over, rather than ruminating over them and lowering their frequency.
If there is a problem in your life, focus on how you might turn it into a possibility. Obstacles can often become opportunities.
Grief is another area where we can (though we usually think otherwise) choose how to focus our attention. No, I'm not saying that we can "turn off" or eliminate grief. Neither am I saying that it "gets easier" over time, as so many well-meaning people tend to put it.
However, we can decide how we choose to perceive and embrace grief. As Khalil Gibran so eloquently put it, "The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain."
As some have said, grief is simply love persisting.
Be Selective In The Company You Keep
The people in our lives can swiftly drain our energy and lower our body frequency – or they can do the opposite, lifting us with their high vibrations.
As reported by National Institutes of Health your personal connections have a "powerful effect" on your mental, emotional and physical health and wellbeing.
If you want to raise your own vibrations, developing healthy, high vibe relationships with people who have what you want is essential.

Choose Wisely When It Comes To The Media You Consume
Social media and the news have their benefits - they allow us to keep in touch and stay in the know about what's happening in the world. But, at the same time, these tools – if used without conscious moderation - can bring down our vibrational energy substantially.
Most of the high vibe people I know consume very little news, and they use social media minimally and with care toward what they consume and who and what is allowed in their feed.
Use Affirmation, Breathwork & Meditation To Raise Your Vibration
When we go inside and center ourselves, we raise our vibration. Through positive affirmation, we can substantially lift our vibrational energy by quieting the mind, going inward, focusing on the breath, and reminding ourselves of how amazing and fortunate we are.
There are hundreds of apps out there that can guide you in hypnosis and meditation, remind you to take a few out of your day to breathe or just stand up and take a break or guide you through a yoga practice if you can't make it to the studio during these days of social distancing.
When You Raise Your Vibration, You Level Up Your Life
A low-frequency, heavy vibration weighed down by scarcity, fear, depression, stoic resignation, anger, or hate brings about more of that.
A high-frequency, light vibration lifted by love, strength, joy, intention, delight, abundance, connection, power, and possibility attracts more of the same.
