Ten years ago, I checked into a little apartment in Montmartre in Paris.

 Now here’s the crazy part.

 I was all by myself.

It felt so strange. There was no one asking me for anything, debating about where to eat, or wondering what we were going to do.

It was the ultimate freedom… and the ultimate test.

Could I navigate a foreign city?

Could I enjoy my own company?

Could I be okay on my own?

That’s the thing. Solo travel is about SO much more than a trip.

It’s an adventure of learning to trust, love, and flourish with only yourself to rely on.

Whether you’re a seasoned solo traveler or you’ve never gone anywhere by yourself, there is always more to discover.

Love,

Solo travel is a tool to cultivate your self-confidence.

Let’s back it up to the moment I checked into that little apartment in Montmartre.

I was definitely intimidated by being alone in a foreign country alone.

I was worried about navigating a city where I didn’t speak the language…

But I also didn’t want any what-ifs or regrets at the end of my life. I had to dive in.

Wondering how it all turned out? Let me tell you, my friend. That solo Parisian adventure made my confidence soar. By the inspiration alone, I launched a new business, changed my mindset around health & wellness, and made friends I still have to this day.

When you realize you can figure out the Metro system or enjoy new foods you can’t even pronounce, something incredible happens.

You begin to trust in your ability to do things much greater. Your expanded self-image follows you back home and shows up in the most transformative ways.

If you are still on the fence about attending SOSI South, ask yourself: What would your 90-year-old self want you to do?

I know what mine would reply.

Grand Solo Adventures, Past & Future

with Leesa Mosed Ferrell

“I was on vacation and couldn’t sleep one night, so I started scrolling for all things French-inspired. I came across Tonya, immediately signed up to work with her, and dove right in. I loved it, and I’ve been transforming from her materials ever since.

Tonya’s message fit with the journey that had started. I learned that I am the author of my life and get to create my own story. I wanted what Tonya was having. I also wanted to be able to have an impact on women by working with them 1:1.

Tonya models and teaches women to live in the world of possibilities through her program. She inspired me to get my coaching certification, which I completed three years ago.

SOSI Beach (a past live event Tonya hosted in Miami) was the first time I traveled completely on my own. I have always traveled as part of a pack. I was nervous. Until this trip, I had never even driven and parked at the airport by myself! I have always hired a taxi or asked someone to drop me off.

Just getting to the destination was so empowering and my first step into solo travel (another SOSI member, Alessia T is my coaching bff, and she coached me and gave me tips).

At SOSI Beach, I decided I wanted to be a woman who works out and gets regular massages. A week after I returned, I signed up for both and have been going regularly ever since.

I had so much fun at SOSI Beach and made so many new friends that I signed up for SOSI Desert (Tonya’s 2nd live event) as soon as it was announced. SOSI Desert was like reuniting with old friends and making new ones.

Signing up for SOSI South was a no-brainer for me. Being around Tonya and her team is a treat. The women that are attracted to her programs are THE BEST.

I know, from experience, that SOSI South will be a high-end experience where more great memories will be made. Not to mention the personal insights. I always come back from Tonya’s events with a better version of myself.”

An Elegant Essential for Solo Travel

I believe in chic uniforms - those easy outfits you can just throw on and instantly feel great. The same goes for luggage. Every charming woman needs a chic travel bag in her arsenal - one that makes her feel amazing, no matter what she is wearing.

THIS durable weekend bag is just that bag. I can always count on it to make me feel polished, put together, and ready for adventure.
